Welcome to Newlife Youth. We believe that there is a revival happening amongst our young people in the UK and we are keen to come alongside this mighty work of God. This young generation is poised to turn the tide, moving the UK from a “post Christianity” society to a Christian one. They are hungry for Christ and we are here to model authentic, courageous Christianity to them. We want to see our young people discipled and empowered to make disciples amongst their peers.

Here’s one of our youth, Paul, preaching alongside Dorothy, the Youth Leader during our Youth Sunday 2025.

Youth on Sundays

For those in school years 7-13

Join us every Sunday during our 9.15 and 11.15 services.

We start off worshipping as a whole church then head upstairs for our Youth service. Our programme includes worship, games, videos and Bible studies, as well as small group discussions to apply what we’re learning to our own lives. These sessions are fun, interactive and sociable, and our desire is for them to help our youth to learn how to connect with God and others.

Youth on Fridays

For those in school years 7-13.

Every Friday (term-time only) from 7-9pm.

This is a fun space to meet up with friends and invite others. It is both time to chill and to have open discussions about questions and big topics facing young people today. We have games, worship and youth cafe. Whether you like nerf wars, crotcheting, table tennis or just chatting with your friends, our fridays are aimed at ensuring everyone feels welcome.

NEW DAY 2026

Norfolk Showground

Monday 27th July – Saturday 1st August 2026

Tickets are now open for Newday 2026.

What is NewDay?

Newday is a Christian festival for secondary school aged youth. It is a catalyst for your young persons faith, a chance to go deeper with God and to connect with peers and role models. As a church we at New Life strongly support our youth going to Newday as we see it as a critical opportunity for them to develop their relationship with God, outside of their home environment. In Newday 2025 we saw God do amazing things amongst the 103 youth that we took. 9 young people gave their lives to Christ, 3 rededicated their lives to Jesus, 6 were baptised after Newday and 8 were healed of various ailments. We have felt a shift in our youth team since Newday and can’t wait to see what God has in store for Newday 2026.

Youth Work Experience

We are blessed to have a large number of youth in our church family. Sunday mornings provide an opportunity for them to meet together to grow in their faith and to develop their gifting.

Join the team

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about young people and their faith journey. Key skills are commitment and being team-focused and flexible. We are also interested in people wanting to develop leadership skills.

Express Interest

As a youth team we are very intentional about the growth and development of our young people. They have opportunities to serve in our weekly activities, but the following are other opportunities for them to grow and develop professionally while also serving God.

  • Year 10 work experience at New Life. Ove the years we have had the honour of hosting some of our young people for their work experience. In 2025 we hosted two wonderful youth and engaged them in group projects, solo projects, staff interviews as well as attending sessions on things like  “Godly work ethic” and “Office etiquette”.

  • Post GCSE work experience. GCSE ends just when we’re in the thick of planning for NewDay. In 2025, one of our youth chose to ditch the couch and come in once a week to help us with our prep and it was a blessing to us and to them. It was an opportunity for them to gain work experience while also serving the church.

  • ID (Intentional Discipleship) after A-levels. We partner with the organisation Intentional Discipleship to run our internship program. It is a dynamic program aimed at helping young people serve God, gain work experience, deepen their knowledge of God and His Word, and discern the next steps that God may be leading them to. I was part of an internship program many years ago and it was fundamental in helping me discern my calling to mission, eventually leading to me moving to the UK to serve your children. You can learn more about it here.

If you are a young person and interested in this or any other form of work experience, contact Dot and she will be happy to chat with you about what that looks like.
